Your Place for All Things Pellman
We are glad you found the all new and greatly improved Pellman-World website. Our new site is a far cry from our original "plain Jane" site that was maintained with "free" hosting supported by banner advertising. Effective 01 February 2011 we have launched our new look, new features, and banner-free website for your use and enjoyment.
The primary focus of the site remains genealogical research into the various known branches of the Pellman family. Naturally, this effort began with the branch of Pellmans that includes our site's founder, Leonard J. Pellman -- a line which has been traced back to his immigrant ancestor, William Frederick Pellman. This research has included as many of the surnames and lineages into which the Pellman ancestors have married over the years.
As a direct result of this research, we have discovered dozens of cousins among the Willis, Kerr, Jenner, Coe, Hinman, Trum, Gillespie, Schimmel, and numerous other families and made friendships and kinships that have greatly enriched our lives. Our fondest hope is that this improved Pellman-World website will attract even more family and friends.
Get Involved
There’s a place for you in Pellman World. So the question is: how do you want to get involved? You can chat with other Pellmans or post information in our discussion forums. You have post the genealogical information for your branch of the Pellman family and compare notes with other Pellman researchers. You can start your own blog and we’ll link it to Pellman World. If you’re a Pellman, whether by birth or marriage … or even a more tenuous family connection, this is your place. So make the most of it!
